Inspired by the embroidered works of Italian conceptual artist Alighiero Boetti, Zag makes a textural statement. Tufted with luxurious mohair and seven different wools plus a shimmer of linen, Zag is a tour-de-force of natural yarns. Zag S, for stairs, translates the rug’s graphic motif for an elegant flatweave.
This collection elevates textiles to living art. Inspired by Arte Povera, a Post-War Italian art movement that used simple materials to create works of artistic expression, each rug is an homage to these visionary artists—transcending the boundaries between art and nature, artist and artisan.
